Bar Harbor Inn Professional Wedding Planning Services

The Oceanfront Lodge building is the latest addition to the Bar Harbor Inn and features 64 spacious rooms with spectacular ocean views. Decorated in contemporary New England style, each room in the Oceanfront Lodge offers one queen bed, two queen beds, or one king bed, with a private balcony directly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The Oceanfront Lodge is situated on the edge of Frenchman Bay, where you can relax on your balcony with a cup of coffee during sunrise or unwind in the evening to watch the moon’s reflection in the ocean waves.

The Oceanfront Lodge offers a premier view of the waterfront where you can sometimes spot beautiful wildlife, including harbor seals, porpoises, eagles, ospreys, and a range of sea birds. Many of our guests also enjoy watching the working lobster boats come in and out of the harbor and visitors strolling up and down the shore path, which is adjacent to our property and fully visible from the Oceanfront balconies.

Planning Services

When you plan your wedding at the Bar Harbor Inn you can expect personalized attention and superior service from our event planning team. Our staff is available to work with you throughout the wedding planning process from start to finish. We will assist you with reserving your date, planning the perfect coastal Maine menu, setting your room diagram, finalizing your timeline and providing an onsite coordinator who is on hand throughout your day. We’d be honored to help you with such an important and exciting event.

Guest Accommodations

Whether you’re planning an all-inclusive event or simply booking accommodations, we have an array of guest room types that will make your stay both comfortable and memorable. We’ll make arrangements for your visiting guests with the convenience of a Hotel Wedding Room Block. Our experienced wedding planners will help you coordinate reservations for your guests and provide you with updates on the guests booked with us.

Weekend Celebrations

Make your wedding a weekend long celebration with a rehearsal dinner at the Inn as your guests arrive, a harbor cruise aboard the magnificent Margaret Todd schooner before or after your reception, and a post-wedding breakfast to say goodbye to your loved ones. We can provide the guidance you need to create an unforgettable wedding weekend.
